You know what song is stuck in my head? It's called "The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot" by Brand New. Here are the lyrics:
"The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot"
If it makes you less sad, I will die by your hand
Hope you find out what you are; already know what I am
And if it makes you less sad, we'll start talking again
You can tell me how vile I already know that I am
I'll grow old, start acting my age
It'll be a brand new day in a life that you hate
A crown of gold, a heart that's harder than stone
And it hurts to hold on, but it's missed when it's gone
Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not
I'm glad that you can forgive, only hoping as time goes, you can forget
If it makes you less sad, I'll move out of this state
You can keep to yourself, I'll keep out of your way
And if it makes you less sad, I'll take your pictures all down
Every picture you paint, I will paint myself out
It's cold as a tomb, and it's dark in your room
When I sneak to your bed to pour salt in your wounds
So call it quits, or get a grip
You say you wanted a solution; you just wanted to be missed
Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not
I'm glad that you can forgive, only hoping as time goes, you can forget
So you can forget, you can forget
You are calm and reposed
Let your beauty unfold
Pale white, like the skin stretched over your bones
Spring keeps you ever close
You are second-hand smoke
You are so fragile and thin, standing trial for your sins
Holding on to yourself the best you can
You are the smell before rain
You are the blood in my veins
Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not
I'm glad that you can forgive, only hoping as time goes, you can forget

Hello!
First post! Perhaps I should tell you a few things about myself. I love writing, reading, and photography, which are probably the things this blog will revolve around. I write all kinds of things, although I'm not a fan of non-fiction. Occasionally I might pound out some sort of essay on the keyboard, but that's really not incredibly likely. Mostly I write realistic fiction. Every now and then, I'll come up with a poem.
Pretty much everything I read is fiction. My favorite authors are probably David Levithan (especially when he's paired up with Rachel Cohn), Lynn Weingarten and Maureen Johnson. If I were to list a few of my favorite books: Wherever Nina Lies by Lynn Weingarten (It was so good that I read it all in one sitting. One sitting with the exception of necessary restroom/food breaks.) Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn (which had the most AMAZING plot, and the dialogue between Dash and great-aunt Ida was so great.) 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson, and it's sequel, The Last Little Blue Envelope (Amazing plots, funny too) and How to Say Goodbye in Robot by Natalie Standiford (which had an ending that must've taken huge amounts of guts to write.)
I have a little digital camera that I carry around and take pictures with sometimes. My bouts of picture-taking go in spurts. I take pictures of anything that looks picture-worthy to me. Also talking about photography, I love some of the images on the website www.weheartit.com. However, some of the images on that site are just weird and gross. .-.
Well, that's about all I have to say for now. Until next time.
